| Abstract: | Diesmal stülpen sich Dona Ulla und Señor Jürgen die Pasamontañas über, schnappen sich eine Flasche Tequila und bringen euch musikalische Grüße aus dem Lakandonischen Urwald.
Denn der Aufstand der Zapatistischen Befreiungsarmee (EZLN) im südmexikanischen Bundesstaat Chiapas hat zahlreiche musikalische Spuren in der ganzen Welt hinterlassen.
„Radio Insurgente“, der aufständische Radiosender der Zapatistas, produziert und vertreibt CDs von Musikgruppen aus den aufständischen Gemeinden Chiapas. Zahlreiche internationale KünstlerInnen wiederum – von Manu Chao bis Rage Against the Machine - haben Lieder für und über Zapatistas geschrieben.
Ein paar davon gibt’s in der aktuellen Ausgabe von „my revolutionary sweetheart“ zu hören und dazu natürlich Wissenswertes über Pop-Ikone Marcos, den Urwaldkäfer Durito sowie intergalaktische Fußballspiele…
Und auch in dieser Ausgabe wurde wieder der/die RevolutionärIn des Monats gekürt. Unsere Wahl fiel diesmal auf Mathias Angerer, den Betreiber des OST Klub für Revolutionierung des Wiener Nachtlebens.
